Trenchless pipe rehabilitation

Always on the lookout for new technologies, respectful of the environment, and concerned about the well-being of the residents near its work sites, LAFONTAINE is proud to excel at the art of trenchless pipe rehabilitation using various techniques.

Rehabilitation of SEWER pipes with ultraviolet-cured lining

The first technique, which the company has offered since 2015, is the rehabilitation of sewer mains with a UV-cured lining. With this technique, it is possible to rehabilitate different pipe sizes, from 200mm to 2100mm.

The process is:

  • Simple

  • Rapid

  • Efficient

  • Odorless

  • Without water discharge

  • Environmentally friendly

FLEXIBILITY

Having acquired a mobile UV unit, LAFONTAINE can now do rehabilitation work in confined spaces, including inside industrial buildings. Furthermore, we own an automated system that permits us to do all types of boring work.

Rehabilitation of SEWER AND WATER pipes by lining

The second trenchless rehabilitation technique mastered by our teams involves inserting a rigid shell inside the existing pipe. For this technique, the shell can be made of different materials, and this type of rehabilitation can be carried out for pipes of varying shapes and diameters.

Rehabilitation of WATER mains by lining

This new process, introduced at LAFONTAINE in 2023, consists of rehabilitating water mains both by UV rays and by inserting a felt lining. The establishment of this new sector of activity required significant investments in terms of equipment and training of the workers,

Extremely rigorous due to the health requirements of the water mains, the use of these advanced techniques imported from the United States and Europe, has forced us to obtain two BNQ certifications relating to the products used, as well as the procedures to be followed during the production and installation of the pipes.

BNQ certifications must be maintained at all times, and to do so, are subject to very rigorous periodic audits.
